The play Lulu
Living by the dictates of others or listening to your own heart? To carry one's burdens unperturbed or to seek one's own way?
The drama is made up of a succession of deaths that comes to all husbands of main character Lulu. Her destiny evolves according to some unpredictable laws that are independent of her.
One day, Lulu meets up with a newspaper editor Shyong, who introduces her to decent society, gives her an education and successfully gives her in marriage to a wealthy man, Gaul. He also teaches Lulu how to use her attractiveness to live at the expense of men. But will the heroine choose this life?

Reviews and critiques:
It was very unusual and creepy to sit not "somewhere in the audience" but right in the middle of the action. Sometimes I wanted to hide. This kind of immersion intensifies the experience, preventing you from losing sight of what's happening.
The production is authentic and, therefore, wonderful. I didn't notice any "lapses". The image of death is very strong! (The man in the mask) I had fun, and I even got 'goosebumps' somewhere, but I can't say where exactly))
The play Lulu is an abomination, but it has to be that way. I'm not a fan of this kind of performance, where everything is imbued with an atmosphere of bile and gloom: at some moments it just got scary, there weren't enough resets to give the audience a break from what was going on. Of all the actors, in my opinion, Shen carried his role from beginning to the end, and this despite the fact that he broke his finger and limped throughout the performance – this added to his character's weakness, which he needed. And in general, all the guys did well, it was felt that they wanted to make this performance, and they did.
Very emotional and tragic. The entire performance looks in the same breath, it is truly action-packed. I would call such a presentation – "action drama", because the whole time on stage the situation kept your head in suspense.
The story makes you empathize with every character, which the actors played as well as they could, in my opinion, bring them into life.
I was overjoyed with the ending, a happy ending for the girl. The feeling of "flying" makes you breathe a sigh of relief for her character's fate. Not everyone is as lucky as she is, even in our peace-loving times.
