Performing show
The importance
of being useless

A circus clown, a performance or a fairy tale, which is as interesting and educational for young people as it is for adults.

In the show "The importance of being useless" we would like to focus on the conflict between the external world of society and the internal world through the destiny of a little boy, Jean.

Society often dictates its own patterns and norms of behaviour, just as the foundations of the family are formed at the expense of the surrounding society, often without giving the child any choice or development. In pursuing the dogma of 'rightness', the family, as the first representative of society for the child, which forms his or her perception of reality, oppresses the child's inner features. The child finds himself "different", first for his parents, then for society, and eventually he is alienated and begins to feel that he is not needed by anyone, including himself.

Just as a child gives its first cry at birth, at an adult stage of development he has to give his next primal cry signalling the emergence of a personality in society, whose characteristics must be respected by people. After all, by maintaining the uniqueness in each other, we can form a society with a broader intellectual background, which in turn will reformat the collective consciousness.

We want to talk about the uniqueness of each person without putting crosses on them or putting them into the red book.

We want to talk about the freedom to express our inner worldview,
without fear of being misunderstood by the people around us.

We want to talk about the awareness that we have to fight for our truth, because no one will do it for us.
